Beherit is a Finnish black metal group formed in 1989, noted for pioneering raw, minimalist black metal and later dark ambient works. Key releases include Drawing Down the Moon (1993), H418ov21.C (1994), Electric Doom Synthesis (1995), Engram (2009), and Bardo Exist (2020).

Formed in 1989 in Finland; early demos include Seventh Blasphemy, Morbid Rehearsal, and Demonomancy. The Oath of Black Blood is a compilation of the Demonomancy demo and the Dawn of Satan's Millennium EP. Later output includes the landmark Drawing Down the Moon and a shift to electronic/dark ambient with H418ov21.C and Electric Doom Synthesis. The band returned with Engram (2009) and released Bardo Exist in 2020.
