THE REVIEW

"The haunted man" is an album with sharp melodies, in the album it's start anew with every track.

I listened to the album for the first time while walking and didn't quite understand it. Then you notice the electro strokes, this time much more subdued compared to the rest, low but full-bodied, still in line with the previous album; even the single, voice and piano, on first listen didn't impress me much, now I appreciate it, also for the magnificent lyrics; in the other tracks
Synth and piano, tribal percussion and electronic drums mix, once again giving rise to Natasha's alchemical creativity; the comparisons here with cat power are all too easy but tracks like Rest head make clear the project's mutating personality.

It's been called "blender effect" (see many "cultured" reviews online).

To me, it seems that making frequent line breaks is a choice, perhaps a bit daring if done without regard; there's surely an air of change in Bat's house
In Bat for Lashes' house
Competitions of change
Line break every song
Reminds of cat power
End.
