I no longer look at my bathroom mirror except to shave. In that case, it spares me. It doesn't break because it’s a "technical" situation... All jokes aside. I've been following this Basset Band for a while through an acquaintance who knows them. He occasionally shares their productions with me. Amid some falls and shortcomings, I find some nice things. Among them, this track, which is really interesting. A plot "à la Genesis" in the old style, but with contemporary sounds and remarkable arrangements. Nice rhythm changes, impactful harmonic progressions, simple yet catchy melodies, especially the main one, which is repeated in various situations and remains very engaging. A track I truly believe deserves multiple listens.
