When the war ended in 2015, we all felt the need for "a return to the origins" to erase from memory the last 100 years of "civilization." Two-thirds of the population fell victim to the conflict, and the desire to start over was immense. The beginning of a new era became a reality for everyone. The so-called Age of Aquarius.

Today, more than 20 years from those days, everything seems to proceed according to a predetermined pattern, because the fear of making mistakes is great. Human nature is what it is, but perhaps something has truly changed. The way of living has changed. We talk more, we help more. There is no longer that strong indifference that allowed the division of the human race. Today we are more united and civilized, and no one will abuse anyone. Today, TV no longer broadcasts stupidity as in the past, and music is more intense and oriented towards reflection.

Now I find in my hands a CD from 2004 by an English group called "Bass Communion" titled: "Vajrayana." The title already seems to be a leap into the future, evoking that desire for inner peace that Buddhism has made a philosophy of life. Two tracks of about 7 minutes each that leave the listener to reflect and peacefully penetrate into their inner world. Ambient music (as it was defined) that fuels the desire to wander between memories and future projects.

So I recommend to enthusiasts of all times of this unique musical genre to treat themselves to a quarter of an hour of healthy meditation. Seriously reflecting on who we are and remembering that among the pages of history lies our future as well.
