It's hard to believe that this is the eighth album produced by the stellar Swedish quintet. As usual, the band opts for numerous breaks within the tracks… ranging from harder parts to melodic ones that allow singer Bjorn Lodin to fully express his fabulous voice.

Lodin is, in my opinion, one of the top 5 singers currently present on the global hard rock scene. Well-supported by the powerful guitars of Mankan Sedenbeth and Stefan Bergstrom, and the rhythmic section of bassist Weine Johansson and drummer Hempo Hilden, Lodin manages to leave his vocal stamp on all 10 tracks on the album… particularly on the title track, on "Gimme What You’ve Got” and on “Are You Coming or Not”… absolutely must-hear songs.

The band itself describes the genre played as: "direct and no-frills hard rock. Powerful guitars, no keyboards, yet a melodic sound when needed. It should be listened to at full volume!"
I have nothing to add, nor can I find better words to describe the energy this record can give to the listener.

For those who have never listened to anything by "Baltimoore" before, I recommend getting their greatest hits ("The Best Of Baltimoore", 2001) to have a broader overview of the music played by the five Swedes throughout their career… but it certainly wouldn't be a mistake to start listening by focusing on one of their specific works.

This, for example, is highly recommended to get into their music.
