Early shows featured bags over their heads. Released the single “Survive”/“Babylonian Gorgon” (Dangerhouse Records). Associated LA scene alongside Germs, Black Flag, Dickies, Dils, Flesh Eaters, Screamers, Weirdos, and Zeros. Post-band: Rob Ritter and Terry Graham joined The Gun Club; Patricia Morrison later played with The Sisters of Mercy and The Damned.

Bags (The Bags) were a first-wave LA punk band centered on Alice “Bag” Armendariz and Patricia “Pat Bag” Morrison. The review highlights their lone official single Survive/Babylonian Gorgon, their LA roots, and a sound between Germs’ ferocity and X’s melody. It recalls the Damned’s catalytic role in LA and lists members’ later stints in The Gun Club, The Sisters of Mercy, and The Damned. Overall tone: celebratory and historically minded.
