Automatic Fine Tuning

Musical Group

A four-piece English quartet formed around mid-1976 (Paul MacDonnell, Robert Cross, Trevor Darks, Dave Ball). They recorded the album A.F.T., featuring the two-part suite "The Great Panjandrum Wheel," played Reading Festival and then faded into obscurity.

A.F.T. is presented as a rare, guitar-driven English progressive rock album from 1976. The centerpiece is the two-part suite "The Great Panjandrum Wheel," praised for baroque architecture and twin-guitar interplay. The record is described as claustrophobic, inventive and extremely rare.

For:Fans of 1970s progressive rock, collectors of rare records, guitar-focused prog listeners

"If you believe that the album X by the Occitan supergroup Y is a masterpiece, it\u0027s because you philistines have never had the guts/wallet to purchase Z!!"
