The Profile

Automat is a German trio formed by Jochen Arbeit (Einstürzende Neubauten, Die Haut), Achim Färber (Project Pitchfork, Prag) and Georg Zeitblom. Their 2014 self-titled debut on Bureau B blends dark dub, kraut and dance elements, featuring guests Lydia Lunch, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and Blixa Bargeld.

Debut album conceptually references Berlin’s airports (THF, SXF, TXL, GWW). Follow-up album Plusminus was released in 2015; Ost-West appeared in 2018.
