DNA was a New York No Wave trio formed in 1978 composed of Arto Lindsay, Ikue Mori and Tim Wright. The band had a brief active life (about four years) and released material including the EP A Taste of DNA; their work appears on compilations and live documents such as Last Live at CBGB's.

Appeared on Brian Eno's No New York compilation; released the EP A Taste of DNA on Rough Trade; the compilation DNA on DNA was released by No More Records in 2004. Band members went on to separate musical careers (Arto Lindsay and Ikue Mori among them).
