THE REVIEW

We left them in 2013, exactly 10 years ago, when there were no wars, no pandemic, and, above all, they were considered the gay icons of Italy! The Iezzi sisters, Paola & Chiara, parted ways that year after 16 years together to pursue their careers individually; Paola continued with music while Chiara ventured into theater and film. Today, however, exactly ten years later, Paola & Chiara, called by Amadeus to Sanremo and reunited in a Milanese shop almost by chance one evening, decide to get back in the game, and they do it with sparkles, glitters, and their distinguishing pop music. Furore, the title of their comeback single, is an anthem to freedom, an anthem to rebirth, dancing as if it were the last song, frenzy, frenzy. A catchy tune that doesn’t aim to teach anything, but brings the splendid sisters back to the gay (and not) public they had "lost" over these years. Furore is written by them and others, and the choreographic artistic director is Luca Tommasini (already known for collaborations with Madonna, Kylie MINOGUE, Ambra Angiolini, and others). All this is well accented by the presence of Paola&Chiara at sanremo2023, with truly special anticipation from Italian fans. There are already many who, after seeing their Sanremo performance, dream of seeing the Iezzi sisters on the Eurovision 2023 stage. We pray that this song makes us dance, if not for the whole summer, then throughout spring 2023. One thing is certain, Paola&Chiara are back, and they're doing it in grand style.
