I was very pleased when almost the entire Italian music scene mobilized for what happened to the poor fellow Abruzzese townspeople. (Note: the artists mobilized... and the politicians?)

But let's keep the discussion purely musical. This piece is clearly inspired by WE ARE THE WORLD, but that doesn't detract from it being a well-done piece.

In my opinion, its strengths are:

-The rap parts, which add a touch of originality and modernity to a text that is somewhat too poetic;

-The succession of around fifty participating voices, each with its own style, makes this track extremely interesting (even if it distracts from the text);

-Artists of every genre and category participated, from the big names (Ligabue, Laura Pausini, Gianna Nannini, Jovanotti, Negramaro, Tiziano Ferro...) to former big names (Al Bano, Massimo Ranieri, Franco Battiato...); from artists of medium success (J-Ax, Caparezza, Fabri Fibra, Carmen Consoli, Mario Venuti...) to newcomers (Marracash, Giusy Ferreri...) down to more niche artists (Baustelle, Sud Sound System...).

Missing are prominent voices like Vasco or Biagio Antonacci, but even so, the project conceived by Jovanotti and Giuliano Sangiorgi of Negramaro to raise funds for the Abruzzese earthquake victims seems to be a winning card.

In my opinion, no matter what Zucchero says (who also participated...), this track deserves at least four stars.

Nice.
