Courtney Pine

Courtney Pine is a British jazz saxophonist, bandleader and composer. He emerged in the 1980s, founded the Jazz Warriors and is known for blending jazz with elements of reggae, soul and UK black music.

Plays soprano and tenor saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet. Founder and leader of the Jazz Warriors collective. Active from the mid-1980s to the present.
