George Lewis

George E. Lewis (born 1952) is an American composer, trombonist, electronic musician and scholar. A longstanding member of the AACM, he authored 'A Power Stronger Than Itself', was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2002, and is a professor at Columbia University.
