Joe Lynn Turner

American rock singer, best known as the lead vocalist for Rainbow in the early 1980s, a solo artist and for recordings with Deep Purple and other rock projects.

Born 1951. Lead vocalist for Rainbow (early 1980s). Sang on Deep Purple's album Slaves and Masters (1990). Collaborated with artists including Yngwie Malmsteen. Leads/recorded with the project Sunstorm.
