THE REVIEW

HONESTLY, I'm not a fan of Articolo 31, I just used to listen to the few (commercial) songs that played on MTV.. but when I saw their film last year, namely "senza filtro", I reconsidered them...

The film is the story of a boy growing up in the outskirts of Milan, amidst drugs, alcohol, and thefts, trying to escape it with hip-hop.
HIS BEST FRIEND HOWEVER GETS HOOKED ON HEROIN AND SO j-ax gets upset and stops hanging out with him...
The film is a bit boring
but I relate to it a lot, music often helps you escape the crappy environment you're in... what pisses me off though is that after this film, Articolo 31 abandoned hip-hop and went commercial... I mean... who can understand these days' so-called singers...
The most impressive fact is that even mondomarcio is crossing MTV's doors and he’s all happy because at 19 he has money and a nice house... same as Eminem... same as Nirvana... same as Pete Doherty... all people who started from an underground environment to make money... and then regret it, like Kurt Cobain did... so I wonder: should we watch less on MTV and lower concert ticket prices to reward good music rather than characters... and cute singers? MAH...
TRY TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME SINCE THE OASIS TICKET COST 80 EUROS AT THE BOX OFFICE...

I’ve digressed a bit and I have more things to say but I'll leave you with this question to reflect on this current music situation...
a kisssssssssssssssssssssss
