MARLENE KUNTZ
Honestly, I like them a lot.
The peak was when they performed "A fior di pelle" and "La canzone che scrivo per te" together with Skin. The performance of "L'odio migliore" and the new single "Notte" was also good.
As a closing track, sheer panic during "Festa mesta".
The band from Cuneo did not disappoint.
ARTICOLO 31
Seeing two idiots who in their songs praise Marijuana and crap like that already makes me mad... then add to that someone with fake dreads singing, and the party's complete. Well... it was my most agonizing half-hour of the concert!
SKIN
Even though I don't like her much as a solo artist, I was thrilled with the performance of two Skunk Anansie classics like "Secretly" and "Charlie Big Potato".
The first had a truly emotional acoustic rendition, for the second, unfortunately, the guitars were missing in the first chorus, but overall it was a good performance by the black vocalist, who also presented some new tracks from the new album.
PLACEBO
Exceptional. I was fortunate to have a friend who won tickets, and I didn't miss the chance to see them live, since Rome is an hour's drive from my city. And I must say that all the anticipation was greatly rewarded, with truly panic-inducing live explosiveness.
Opening reserved for "Taste In Men", a song from a few years back. During "The Bitter End", "This Picture", "Plasticine", and "Special K", performed to perfection, everything happened.
The ballads "Special Needs" (outstanding live) and "Pure Morning", which was the closing song, were magnificent.
Really very good, Brian is a character born to be on stage... imagine that he changed guitar on every song!!! Unbelievable!
Overall, I give a nice 5 to this concert, despite Articolo 31... oh well... to me, it's as if they weren't there...
