THE REVIEW

Do you know this group? Despite their name, they are an Australian octet decidedly pop that has nothing to do with Alvar Aalto. They play a delightful fresh, relaxing, and somewhat childish pop... Imagine Pascal Comelade bringing his art to elementary schools and letting himself be influenced by the little ones, or imagine Belle and Sebastian no longer acting their age and suddenly (unadvisedly?) finding themselves at the enviable age of five, that’s the idea you’ll have of what you’ll be dealing with if you decide to listen to this album.

If you listen to it for the first time, beware! Don’t be deceived, the album grows exponentially as the numbers increase on your player’s display! Try The Owls Go, or Fumble, but even the singles, Like A Call and Kindling, aren’t bad.
A small flaw of the album is the short pieces that are almost instrumental (and sometimes a bit superfluous!).
Be careful, the album is addictive!
