Arch Enemy is a Swedish metal band formed in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott. The group is known for a melodic take on death metal, early vocal work by Johan Liiva, the later addition of Angela Gossow (from Wages Of Sin era), and prominent guitar work by the Amott brothers.
