Apokalyptic Raids is a Brazilian black/thrash metal band formed in 1998 in Rio de Janeiro, carrying the first-wave tradition in the vein of Hellhammer/Celtic Frost.

Brazilian trio noted for a raw, cavernous sound and first-wave black/thrash style. Vol.4 - Phonocopia was released in 2010. The review references members Necromaniac (vocals, guitar) and Slaughterer (drums, born Marcio Cativeiro). Their material includes a cover of Hellhammer’s Crucifixion.
