In today's landscape of Rap music in Italy, announcing the appearance of a new group seems pointless: the sea is full of fish, and the risk of saturation always looms over every new production. However, I must inform you, though unfortunately with a few months' delay, about the release of a mixtape by a Hip Hop collective from the province of Rome, which over the years has certainly had opportunities to emerge, at least in the so-called 'niche' of the underground, but remains unknown to most.

I'm talking about RIME VAGANTI, mixtape released under the name "Aperitivo Hip Hop," a super-underground collective from the province of Rome. Ike Adb, Doc One, Slam, OnlySamples, Nube, Komakupo, Celibraun, Mass1, founding members of the collective, joined by Sick Damn and Dj Elle (recently from a Hardcore Rap album to add to your collection, "FAT RAP"), Strage, Fa1, Slot1, Dec, Fale, Mapharell, and Federica Bensi (voices on the video released as a single, "Bucolica Carma"). Many unknown names, which will be a pleasure to meet and listen to on an 80-minute journey in the province, along the Flaminia, where the roots of culture continue to be entrenched, and where lyrical and rhythmic experiments coexist peacefully with more 'classic' solutions.

24 tracks, each different from the other, where the various MCs tell us about their problems, the canonical problems of just over twenty-year-olds, who are finally becoming aware of the reality surrounding them. Each episode has a particular 'flavor', so I recommend listening fully: don't skip any tracks, it will truly be worth it. You'll find 'hype' tracks ("IL PERSONAGGIO", "PUNTO DI PARTENZA", "TROPPO"), 'cruise' tracks for long journeys (like "CHILLATA", "LOVE ALIVE"), introspective pieces ("ANDY PLANK", "SCOMMESSE"), and, of course, tracks in perfect Hip Hop spirit, like the episodes "RIME VAGANTI", parts 1 and 2, and "POSSE SOLO RIME", a truly incredible piece over a timeless Dilated People base.

A couple more things to report: despite being a mixtape, there are some self-productions that calling them 'powerful' would simply be an understatement: OnlySamples, Ike ADB, and Hysteriack make everything undoubtedly 'juicier', preparing us for the upcoming solo releases of the various members. For information, allow me a bit of advertising because these guys deserve it: on the Facebook page "Elettrolisi Lessicali", you'll have all the information you need if you want to delve deeper into this emerging group. What else can I add? Words about music are always superfluous, especially those about Rap. So...Enjoy Listening!
