THE REVIEW

The @PATIA NO are one of the most well-known hardcore bands in Venezuela, and after numerous splits with other South American and non-South American punk-Hc groups (Malgobierno from Chile, the Spanish Sin Dios, the Mexicans Fallas Del Sistema) and a small collection on cassette "Resistencia A La Imposicion 96-99", they released this "Creados Por La Paz" in 2000.

Johnny's vocals (bassist and singer) are sometimes ungraceful, as in the second track "Politicia Electoral pt.2", but the numerous sharp choruses are good and support the vocal lines of almost all the songs.

Fast and direct is the following "No Les Compres", which is, in my opinion, the best track of this 7-inch.

The socially critical lyrics focus on the precarious condition of Venezuelan society and economy starting from the first track "Naciones Podridas", a condemnation of many United Nations decisions on war-related issues.

The rhythmic foundations by Arnaldo (drums) are good, and the guitars by Miguel and Edward are powerful, even if sometimes "muddy".

A nice, straightforward, and honest HC record, even if rough in arrangements.
