SUPER CRAZY GUITAR MANIAC DELUXE 4

Who remembers this fantastic little flash game? An ignorant and punk parody of Guitar Hero, those were the times post-high school when work was just a chimera, and free time was totally lounging and boring.

I wanted to start with a violent track by track to remind you all that we were all pimply and drooling teenagers, running like headless chickens through the alleys of the most run-down small town, spitting on the ground and throwing firecrackers into manholes, escaping from the insolent old man who cursed us in a thick dialect; but I decided on a quieter basic and debased hit.

This record is worth gold when there might be a collapse among neutrino stars: powerful and anthemic tracks that would make any melodic hardcore and pop-punk band of the last 25 years jealous at least. No Los Angeles sun but cold shivers from Connecticut; the sun as a distant mirage.
I can swear that I am quite ignorant about melodic punk but I can certainly understand how divine this record sounds, and I'm not kidding; a year-end top 10 and who cares if it's only an EP, even reasonably decently well produced.

So, random list that I perceived during listening:

Bad Religion.
Descendents.
Fugazi.
Weezer.
Smashing Pumpkins.
Superchunk. (again)
Archers Of Loaf.
Sebadoh.
(Verdena, probably the closest thing).

lots of Teenage Angst and Punk Attitude.
But I appeal to you! You truly know the band that most resembles this, for me, fantastic band. So, in the comments your influential impressions.
