THE REVIEW

Antonello’s twelfth live album, Daje!, brings together the best moments from the concerts that celebrated forty years of Cuore, both in 2024 and 2025.

The setlist is divided into two parts: the first dedicated to the album Cuore, and the second to the more and less recent classics.

You can listen again to tracks that hadn’t been performed live for years, such as Mai nessun video mai.

The band accompanying Antonello consists of both longtime collaborators and new members, and everything is played with precision and professionalism.

To enrich everything, there are spoken interludes by Antonello on certain songs, and female backing vocals— for example on Che fantastica storia è la vita and Ricordati di me.

Regarding the differences from the studio versions, for example, in Stella Antonello adds a few lines, while in Qui the final solo is different.

Sometimes, as with any respectable live show, Antonello has the audience sing along—this happens especially during the final Grazie Roma.

Daje! is a good live album to which we give three stars; it perfectly captures the stage of Venditti more devoted to live performances than to studio albums. The last studio album dates back 11 years and was called Tortuga.
