After the live 70.80 - Ritorno al futuro, Antonello Venditti with Francesco De Gregori brings to life a sort of "chapter 2".

The live concert indeed sees Antonello performing only songs from 1972's Roma Capoccia to 1988's Ricordati di me and In questo mondo di ladri.

More interesting are De Gregori's choices, ranging from 1975's Rimmel and Buonanotte fiorellino to 1983's La donna cannone, then adding two pieces from the new millennium, Sempre e per sempre from 2001 and Il vestito del violinista from 2005.

The most intriguing aspect is when the artists sing each other's songs, especially Sempre e per sempre introduced by Antonello.

Apart from that, the album adds little and fills the already vast live discography of Francesco, 17 live!, and also of Antonello, with this one reaching 11.

An album worth three stars, to be listened to at most twice, while waiting for the new studio album by Antonello, already announced, which in 2024 will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of Notte prima degli esami.

Francesco in the studio, in terms of new material, has been on hold since 2012's Sulla strada.
