After "Love Part 2", the latest effort by Angels And Airwaves, the second band of Tom DeLonge, guitarist and singer of the pop-punk music group Blink 182, lands on the web (yes, you understood correctly). The album is accompanied by a short film, a novel, comics, and additional bundles. The Dream Walker does not exist in a physical version and will not be supported by a tour, unlike previous works. The release date was initially set for October 31, 2014, but then postponed to December 9, 2014. At first listen, it sounds like the perfect soundtrack for a new Star Wars movie. Among all the tracks, "Bullets In The Wind" and "Paralyzed" stand out as definitely the best of the entire album. A significant change compared to albums like "I-Empire" is indeed noticeable: the sound becomes more mature and adult, making it clear that Angels And Airwaves is not just a common band for teenagers. As stated by Tom DeLonge, in this band he manages to express himself, all his creative abilities. Well, if The Dream Walker contains the true essence of Tom DeLonge, we can only be happy about it. The songs are no longer structured by the classic three power chords; instead, they feature some instrumental technique that is not present in Blink 182's works. Certainly, The Dream Walker is a worthy work by Angels And Airwaves. We can only hope that the next albums will be up to par.
