THE REVIEW

"The Dog Can Die" was released in 2020, Luoghi interiori is the publisher. It is the author's debut book. 180 pages.

It is the story of a young man struggling with an addiction. He has disappointed everyone, lost his job, friends, family, and now he finds himself relying on one last gram of willpower to climb out of the abyss he has fallen into.

To do this, he needs to go back in time, as if he could start again from the day and age where the descent began. And so he starts over, changes country, tries to reset everything. New life, new (old) friends, new intentions.

Then something goes wrong.

The message of the novel is simple and brutal. Fragility is a sort of condemnation and follows us everywhere, and alone we cannot fight it.
