If you enjoyed the previous work "Madonna" by the four Texans, even though there were only 2 really good tracks, the new CD "Source Tags & Codes" will definitely blow your mind.

Their glasgowcore (on the first listen, they also seem like a Scottish product) doesn't let you breathe, even when the faster tracks are followed by "ballads" complete with piano and mini-orchestra in the background. Guitars and amplifiers pushed to the limit, intricate and melodic riffs at the same time, not even one boring track (and there are 13 in all) to criticize, original style even if sometimes it reminds a bit of At the Drive In, overall a maturation and confirmation of what they offered in "Madonna".

To be recommended to all those who would like (but don't) to punch someone in the face after a crappy day, blast Trail of Dead and you'll find that as soon as the last track is over, you'll want to listen to the CD all over again and then go down the street singing "Days of Being Wild", take a walk around the block and then go back home to listen to the CD again and then listen to it again, and then go down the street again and take another walk, then go back home to listen to it again and again and then go down the street to wait for the first person who asks you "oh, what the hell are you doing, going up and down for the third time, are you having a bad day or what?!?!" and punch them in the face...
