With their folk-rock songs and instruments limited to a classical guitar and occasionally a drum, America has always left me indifferent, and this album confirms that feeling and more.
The songs are quite similar to each other, with "Survival" undoubtedly standing out, performed as guests at the 32nd Sanremo Festival, and "I Don't Believe In Miracles," a poignant and sweet song, perfect for closing the first side.
But the best song, in my opinion, both for the change in genre and for finally hearing some good electric guitar riffs, is "Hangover," which, despite opening with chords reminiscent of Battisti's "Canzone del Sole," is much more fast and furious, waking you from the stupor caused by the dreamy choruses of the other songs.
All in all, a good album in pure America style, although it might seem monotonous to those who do not appreciate the genre.
