The Central Committee does not accept anarchoid and utopian propaganda. Only scientific socialism, only Marxist-Leninist thought can be set to music or expressed in letters. However, only the Central Committee can scrutinize Western works that stand in contrast to Marxism-Leninism and socialist realism. If it wishes, just imagine, the Central Committee might find these works "pleasant" or even "exhilarating".

This is the case with Amebix, a band which György Lukács has told me about at length, urging me to keep it well away from the ears of the working masses. Obviously, I will not spread the unruly word of Amebix in factories and workshops, but as a member of the Central Committee, closed in my house, I shall continue to listen to "Arise!".

An anti-communist and anarcho-utopian band, born in the late '70s in the ultra-capitalist land of Albion, proponents of a metallic Punk Rock that even manages to incorporate Darkwave influences. This is the brilliant, yet non-proletarian, debut of the most ragtag and toxic crew of "crusters" ever to exist.

But what is Crust? Rotten and venomous Punk, a step away from metal and sharing more than a point with grindcore. In Amebix's version of Crust, however, dark and gothic influences also coexist. Listen to the opener "The Moor", the spectral "Drink and Be Merry", or "The Darkest Hour". Here is everything a Western petty-bourgeois and fake-revolutionary can consider right up their alley. Intense rage related to the sound of Motorhead and Venom, yet also gloom reminiscent of Bauhaus and Joy Division.

As long as bourgeois democracy permits it... LISTEN TO THIS RECORD! Because if, for one reason or another, you've let it slip by, oh dear, you're quite the unlucky one. It pains me to use this fascist-yuppie adjective but, in the end, there isn't a true punk or metalhead (AUTHENTIC) who hasn't listened to "Arise!".

Now, I'm going back to the Central Committee. Be good and mosh in your little room.
