THE REVIEW

Exceptional! So, are there still bands in Italy capable of offering a product that truly matters?
Anyone who listens to this 2002 demo, I am sure, will be taken aback, because we are faced with a group that, with a bit of luck, could finally bring Italian music to where it deserves to be. It is not an exaggeration; the sound of these guys from Marconia (MT) is truly top-notch. Everything is there – technique, power, emotion... the arrangements are sublime, the drums break the stereo speakers, frenetic keyboards, sharp guitars and bass, not to mention the performance of the singer Tony Minerba, truly exciting and versatile.
Another positive aspect of this demo is the singing, entirely in Italian, but which fits perfectly with the music.
The genre is very varied, in fact, it ranges from Dream Theater-inspired progressive metal to much more rocking phases. The tracks are very well articulated and full of interesting cues, managing to keep the listener always attentive to every slight variation.
At the moment, Algol 3 has recorded another album titled "Emotivamente", which is receiving many accolades from critics and which I am trying to get my hands on.
The score is well-deserved, and it is also an encouragement for these guys who are trying to emerge on their own strength. Keep it up!!!
