At the beginning of this year 2015, which, recalling the dates I used to write on my elementary school notebooks, makes me feel old, Alessandro Ducoli gives us a handful of pearls. “Divanomachia” is composed of 12 tracks, although its length would allow it to be called an EP. An intimate album, with ballads sometimes a bit twisted, where the piano replaces the guitar. The mood of this work is melancholic, but a underlying positivity can be felt, it seems like one of those smiles that pass through the eyes and not the lips.

As evoked by its beautiful title, it is a lazy album, born on rainy Sundays spent on the couch. It talks about stories that end, sincerely and without "weeping metaphors," as he says. About lived experiences, unlike many musicians who "do not bear the marks of what they sing about." It talks about memories and the end of winter, which catches you in a cowardly way, so suddenly, with its warmth, just when you least expect it.
