A few years ago, Umberto Veronesi, from the height of his incomparable experience, declared that the way to defeat cancer lies in genetics. No "environmental factor," no psychological factor, and pollution, well, that's a big invention. It's mainly basil and potatoes that have the most impact on people's health: it doesn't take a genius to realize there's something absolutely perverse in this discourse.

I stumbled upon this information by chance during a Grillo show (2005, beppegrillo.it, projected in the noisiest school assembly ever), where it was more or less openly explained that the "timid" references to what has now become a clear reality were silenced due to a hefty fee provided by FIAT, and quoting American Beauty, "let's all sell our souls and work for Satan because it's more convenient." From then on, my interest in the subject waned over time, perhaps due to my tender age at the time, or perhaps due to the natural (natural=induced) inclination of humans to laziness, until relatively recent times, when the theme of the "disease of the century" returned to my daily playlist for one sole reason: observing how relatives, friends, distant acquaintances, and even neighbors end up blissfully underground from one day to the next.

And if pure personal experience can seriously put you in a tight spot regarding doubts, considerations, and inner conflicts, a book like this could literally strip you bare of the wealth of information it contains. Quoting the beginning: "Five years ago (1993) the harrowing reality of cancer imposed itself on my attention. I realized the immense amount of physical and mental suffering caused by this disease. I observed the futility and atrocity of current treatments. Worse of all, I discovered that the emotional tone of humanity faced with cancer was not one of despair, it had sunk even lower, to a sort of resigned, impotent apathy. So I decided to found the A.R.P.C. and, using this tool, intervene personally to contribute to the fight against tumors. As I had no ties with pharmaceutical companies, nor with any lobby or corporation, I could act freely and tell the facts without any limitation. Cancer costs in Italy in 1998 (estimated to be understated): - Chemotherapy drugs L. 40 thousand billion - Everything else (operations, tests, radiotherapy, research, etc...) L. 40 thousand billion – Total L. 80 thousand billion Multiply these figures for the rest of the world and you will get amounts comparable to those of a planetary war. Hundreds of thousands of people and powerful international organizations are involved in this tremendous affair. Do you think they would easily give up their hefty earnings?"

A word to the wise is sufficient, for everyone else, I just say that "Kancropoli" is a book-investigation like few have been seen in recent years on the subject, a ruthless account of how death, disease, and consequently medical-hospital treatments, treatments, and investments represent a business on par with shoes, cars, refrigerators, only with the small detail of having much higher earnings with revenues that reach mind-boggling figures. In short, a business that needs to be safeguarded, preserved, kept under lock and key and away from all those "bad" scientists and their revolutionary (and low-cost) discoveries capable of revolutionizing the very concept of disease and health in a flash.

Examples? The semi-unknown Alessiani, who managed to cure his terminally ill wife with a treatment he patented himself at virtually zero cost, using humus and particular herbs: there is a death sentence on him from the Italian prosecution. The very famous Di Bella, struck off the register, poisoned several times, who had to endure professional reprisals, attacks, out-and-out conspiracies for having discovered a miraculous cure against tumors and other diseases through melanin. Not to mention S. Seçkiner Görgün, a brilliant Turkish doctor who, among other things, invented a perfectly functioning artificial heart about 40 years ago, or "Albert," the inventor of the miraculous yet unknown BIOTRON, up to many other medical and scientific geniuses consigned to total anonymity by an invisible elite that feeds on the death of our loved ones and millions of other people around the world.

I don't care if you may think like me or have a totally different idea, ideas have nothing to do with this, here we are talking about facts, data, interviews, articles, information of vital importance to say the least. Turn off the TV, make yourself a tea (being careful about what you put in it...) and dedicate an evening to this book, easily downloadable as a .pdf file at this address.
