English drummer best known for his long tenure with Yes (from 1972 until 2022). He also worked with John Lennon and George Harrison, and released the solo album Ramshackled (1976) plus the single Run With The Fox (with Chris Squire).

Born 14 June 1949 in Pelton, County Durham; died 26 May 2022. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Yes in 2017. Performed with the Plastic Ono Band and on sessions for John Lennon and George Harrison.

A candid takedown of Alan White’s 1976 solo album Ramshackled. The reviewer argues it feels more like a session-musician project than White’s own, with soul/funk leanings and flat songwriting.
