After the APC, H.Priest and M.Sayyid have returned with a phenomenal presence never yet equaled, boasting a disparate number of unsuccessful imitators. "Good Fortune" is a dense, psychedelic rap attack. The beats meet a minimalist-electronic-concrete sound and when the hyper-intellectual flow of the duo attacks the mic, you can smell the acid smoke coming out of your headphones.

The sonic braindance of Airborn Audio is full of arhythmic tempos and verbal frictions that evoke allusions close to the impossible. In the song "Bright Lights", a robotic pronunciation reigns, rising from their acidic and fast speeches that project you into Blade Runner, saying, "Welcome to Airborn Audio/Your new provider for the finest in sound/Crews might come and crews might go/But it's the hottest new sound around". I would say it not only represents an analysis but a complex synthesis of how Airborn Audio is the complete opposite of what Ball Beans wanted: electronics recalling jazz and soul music.

The duo spent a year touring NYC studios producing a mixtape (Close Encounters) in anticipation of the album. Schizophrenic arhythmic beats outside of normal listening, sounds suddenly inserted like car brakes with crashing broken glass, screams, rolls that lift your morale, this is sick electronics that shifts your brain and eyes together. Hard and tough Hip-Hop not suitable for those used to easy sounds, this is the work of H.Priest and M.Sayyid!

"H.Priest a legend in his own mind/ destroy all the concept of the linear time"!

Underrated? I don't think they tour Japan to buy cheap mp3s considering that Alec Empire draws 10,000 people there and only 40 at the Alcatraz in Milan, I don’t think more needs to be said. I recommend this CD, it’s heavy stuff.
