Hello everyone, today I want to review a good pop dance record worthy of the best Aqua, and that is "Dance Love Pop" by Agnes.
Agnes is Swedish and unfortunately has already been labeled as the heir to Leona Lewis (as you might have already guessed, I don't like this at all), in my opinion, the two make completely different music as Leona leans more towards blues while Agnes creates a much more upbeat and enjoyable pop to follow.
The album is divided into two parts: the first contains the real album while the second CD includes various remixes, and there's also the option to purchase the extra version with many filmed contents.
The iconic song is "Release Me", which was the emblematic song of summer 2009, another single extracted and perhaps the song I consider the most beautiful of the album is "On And On" (which is very similar to "My Oh My" by Aqua), a classic ballad with banal lyrics but very engaging (the remix version is a masterpiece).
The rest of the album certainly does not fall short with "I Need You Now" and "Big Blue Wall", with that light atmosphere, but very pleasant, obviously nothing too complex, simple and catchy choruses, quite commercial and therefore, in the long run, the CD might become tiresome.
The little Swedish star has, in addition to this album, released 2 other CDs only in Sweden and gained notoriety by winning the talent show Pop Idol.
Hoping that our Agnes continues like this and does not become the new Leona, I bid you farewell and see you next time!
P.S.: Don't be too harsh, I know the review is short, but I really wanted to review this album, and it's also my first dareview.
