INCANTU evokes solitude, passion, and journey. A long journey through the cracks of one's inner desert. Agghiastru offers us his mystical vision, reached in the perpetual falls of his Sicilian wanderings. Every note sung and played on this album expresses the suffering and allure of someone who has been, and will always be, in struggle with everything. Someone waiting for something about to arrive, yet confused remains among the cloudy skies of the horizon. All these emotions could only come from a unique and mystical place: Sicily. And to recount this wonderful clash and meeting of moods, a wandering Sicilian. Songs like Suli, Carennu, Ferru & Focu, Rosa, are gateways to a highly spiritual dimension. You will feel the thorns, the brambles, the scorching sun, scraping your skin. Sangu will strike your bloodless soul, and in the pit that Agghiastru digs in the arid earth, you will find peace along with the skull of Vitti 'na Crozza. An album, a journey.
