LA RECENSIONE

His Majesty Aphex Twin deigns to bring out something from his archive and quenches our thirst with a series of "Analord" vinyls. So far, you can get numbers 01 and 02. Let's talk about 01. Thus, I also talk about 02 at the same time. Because they are very similar, in terms of blandness and idea repetitiveness. There are two cases (look at that, just like the vinyls in question...): either these ten pieces are at least 10 years old, and then they would make sense in the genre they belong to, or everything should be played at 45 RPM instead of 33. Or, was it actually meant to be at 45? Coincidence: 45 times 2 (vinyls) makes 90, just like the degrees to which my body unconsciously positions itself if I think about the "investment"...

Recommended: for those who don't know who APX is and have never listened to him in the past (without going too far back, I recommend the EP from less than a year ago "Smojphace," the track "Ktpa 1" is extraordinary)
Not recommended: for those who know who APX is and have listened to him in the past...

Summary by Bot

The review criticizes AFX's Analord 01 for its repetitive sounds and lack of freshness. It suggests the tracks either belong to a past era or should be played faster for better effect. Recommended only for newcomers, not longtime fans.
