It was a day like any other, it was raining, so to pass the time, I decided to surf the internet and look for some records that interested me on online stores. I typed in the name Aerosmith and a cover logo I'd never seen before popped up. I discovered that the record in question was titled "You Gotta Move" (like a song from the band's latest album), and it caught my interest because it's a DVD. Until now, there were others on the market, but I never managed to get one. I didn't think twice, and the following week, I found the package in my mailbox with the wrapped product. Let's enjoy it.

The work contains footage of a concert from 2005 during the promotional tour for the album "Honkin' on Bobo". In fact, the setlist (quite standard, with classic pieces mixed with less known ones) includes some songs from that album. All excited, I put the disc in the DVD player and pressed "play", but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed as it all started. I thought there would only be the concert and the rest separately. However, no; between songs, the band members speak, and as if that wasn't enough, the interviews are even placed during the songs. An interview was even inserted during the solo of "Draw the Line" and another during the first chords of "Dream On", a truly moving moment ruined. Unheard of!

Now, I don't mean to imply that the interviews and backstage moments of the band aren't interesting, but they should have been separated from the concert (which wasn't even long, and a complete version wouldn't have been tiring). Additionally, there are neither English subtitles nor in other languages. Very poorly done, and it's really hard to understand.

Fortunately, the concert is up to Aerosmith's standards, Tyler and the gang are really in shape, proving it by playing the songs with truly infectious energy. The singer is the most participative, splashes water on the audience, and during Perry and Whitford's solos, he leaves the stage to hug the girls, sometimes even high-fiving the people. I can say that all the songs are executed perfectly; the best ones are: "Love in an Elevator", for the energy it exudes, and Tyler never stands still, mimicking the positions from the song's video, making you want to focus on the screen and never look away. "Road Runner" sees Mr. Tyler running up and down the stage and singing perfectly. "Back in the Saddle" sends chills with the wild screams and Perry's solos. "Dream On" is a bit distorted by Tyler, but it still gives you goosebumps. "Jaded" is played with more energy, but the highlight is when Steven Tyler stares at the audience and hits an incredibly high note (considering his age). "Sweet Emotion" captivates with Tom's bass riff, and "Never Loved a Girl" has Tyler hitting notes that could be described as superhuman. In "Walk this Way", Perry's solos entertain us during the singer's trapeze performance, where he, with a trapeze, throws himself into the audience and greets them.

There are less thrilling and more disappointing moments, such as the poor performance of "Cryin'" or the ballad "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", which I think should have been avoided. But overall, the concert is very good. The DVD also contains five bonus tracks: "Fever", "Rats in the Cellar" (the improvisation part is beautiful), "Livin' on the Edge", "Last Child", and "Same Old Song and Dance".

To conclude, I personally found the DVD's layout really poorly done, but it was all lifted by a not outstanding but very good performance by the group.

01   Toys in the Attic (04:03)

In the attic, lights
Voices scream, nothing seems
Real's a dream

Leaving the things that are real behind
Leaving the things that you love from mind
All of the things that you learned from fears
Nothing is left for the years, voices scream
Nothing seems real's a dream

Toys toys toys in the attic
Toys toys toys in the attic
Toys toys toys in the attic
Toys toys toys

In the attic, lights
Voices scream, nothing seems
Real's a dream

Leaving the things that are real behind
Leaving the things that you love from mind
All of the things that you learned from fears
Nothing is left for the years, voices scream
Nothing seems real's a dream

Toys toys toys in the attic
Toys toys toys in the attic
Toys toys toys in the attic........

02   Love in an Elevator (05:52)

"Second floor: hardware, children's wear, ladies' lingerie. Oh! Good morning, Mr. Tyler. Going... down?"

Yeah!

Workin' like a dog for the bossman (Whoa)
Workin' for the company (Whoa yeah)
I'm bettin' on the dice I'm tossin' (Whoa)
I'm gonna have a fantasy (Whoa yeah)
But where am I gonna look?
They tell me that love is blind
I really need a girl like an opened book
To read between the lines

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down
Love in a elevator
Lovin' it up 'til I hit the ground

Shaggin' in the elevator (Whoa)
Lingerie - second floor (Whoa yeah)
She said, "Can I see you later (Whoa)
And love you just a little more?" (Whoa yeah)
I kinda hope we get stuck
Nobody gets out of line
She said, "I'll show you how to fax in the mail room, honey
And have you home by five"

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down
Love in an elevator
Lovin' it up 'til I hit the ground

In the air, in the air
Honey one more time, now it ain't fair
Love in an elevator
Lovin' it up when I'm goin' down

Love in an...
E-le-va-tor

Going down

Love in an elevator
Lovin' it up when I'm goin' down
Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I hit the ground

Gonna be a penthouse pauper (Whoa)
Gonna be a millionaire (Whoa yeah)
I'm gonna be a real fast talker (Whoa)
And have me a love affair (Whoa yeah)
Gotta get my timin' right (Whoa)
It's a test that I gotta pass (Whoa yeah)
I'll chase you all the way to the stairway, honey (Whoa)
And kiss your sassafras

Love in an elevator
Lovin' it up when I'm goin' down
Love in an elevator
Livin' it up 'til I hit the ground

Do you care? Do you care?
Honey one more time, now it ain't fair

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down

Do you care? Do you care?
Honey one more time, now it ain't fair

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down

In the air, in the air
Honey one more time, one more

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down

In the air, in the air
Honey one more time, one more

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down

In the air, in the air
Honey one more time, one more

Love in an elevator

Love in an elevator
Livin' it up when I'm goin' down

In the air, in the air
In the air, in the air

Love in an elevator
Lovin' it up when I'm going down

03   Rats in the Cellar (08:54)

Goin' under rats in the cellar
Goin' under skin's turnin' yellow
Nose is runny losin' my connection
Losin' money gettin' no affection

New York City blues
East side West side blues
Throw me in the slam
Catch me if you can
Believe
That you're wearin'
Tearin' me apart

Safe complaining 'cause everything's rotten
Go insanin' and ain't a thing forgotten
Feelin' cozy Rats In The Cellar
Cheeks are rosy skin's turning yellow
Loose and soggy lookin' rather lazy
See my body pushin' up the daisies

New York City's dues
East side west side news
Throw me in the slam
A catch me if you can
Believe
That you're wearin'
Tearin' me apart

New York City blues
East side west side blues
Throw me in the slam
A catch me if you can
Believe
That you're wearin'
Tearin' me apart

05   The Other Side (04:30)

Lovin' you's got to be (Take me to the other side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea (Take me to the other side)
Forget about your foolish pride (Take me to the other side)
C'mon, take me to the other side (Take me to the other side)

My mama told me there'd be days like this
And man she wasn't foolin'
'Cause I just can't believe the way you kiss
Uh huh
You opened up your mouth with baited breath
You said you never leave me
You love me, you hate me, I tried to take the loss
You cryin' me a river but I got to get across

Lovin' you's got to be (Take me to the other side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea (Take me to the other side)
Forget about your foolish pride (Take me to the other side)
Ah honey, take me to the other side (Take me to the other side)

I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh Lordy how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Oh honey, best believe it
To save a lot of time and foolish pride
I'll say what's on my mind, girl
You love me, you hate me, you cut me down to size
You blinded me with love and yeah, it opened up my eyes

Lovin' you's got to be (Take me to the other side)
Like some devil and the deep blue sea (Take me to the other side)
My conscience got to be my guide (Take me to the other side)
Oh honey take me, take, take, take, take, take (Take me to the other side)

(Take me to the other side)
I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh Lordy how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Honey, you best believe it
Now I ain't one for sayin' long goodbyes
I hope all is forgiven
You love me, you hate me, I used to be your lover
You know you had it comin', girl, so take me to the other (Side)
(Take me to the other side)
(Take me to the other side)

Lovin' you's got to be (Take me to the other side)
Like some devil and the deep blue sea (Take me to the other side)
You know my conscience got to be my guide (Take me to the other side)
Honey take me to the other side (Take me to the other side)

Lovin' you's got to be (Take me to the other side)
Like some devil and the deep blue sea (Take me to the other side)
Forget about your foolish pride (Take me to the other side)
Honey take me, take me, take me, take me (Take me to the other side)

(Take me to the other side)
(Take me to the other side)
(Take me to the other side)
(Take me to the other side)

06   Back in the Saddle (05:22)

I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again

Ridin' into town alone by the light of the moon
I'm lookin' for old Sukie Jones she crazy horse saloon
Barkeep gimme a drink that's when she caught my eye
She turned to give me a wink that make a grown man cry

I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back

Come easy, go easy, all right till the rising sun
I'm calling all the shots tonight I'm like a loaded gun
Peelin' off my boots and chaps I'm saddle sore
Four bits gets you time in the racks I scream for more
Fools' gold out of their mines the girls are soaking wet
No tongue's drier than mine I'll come when I get back

I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again

I'm ridin', I'm loadin' up my pistol
I'm ridin', I really got a fistful
I'm ridin', I'm shinin' up my saddle
I'm ridin', this snake is gonna rattle

I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back

Ridin' high
Ridin' high
Ridin' high
Already
