It may seem like utter nonsense to write about a video game, but this one really hits hard; how can one not appreciate a group of developers who weave a story so believable that even the evening news can't compare? (if only they had the guts to say certain things); how can one not admire their ability to create characters full of charm like Soap McTavish or Captain Price?

For those unfamiliar with the product in question, I recommend getting the stunning soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and listening to the piece accompanying that magnificent scene where soldiers emerge from the shelter and dash through trenches dug right in the middle of Washington D.C.!!! to liberate the Capitol from invading Russians: you can feel all the anguish and drama of such a moment and at the same time all its epicness and inherent daring.

Incidentally, that sequence alone is worth the price of the package; and if anyone thinks it’s just utter nonsense, I’d like to add that certain topics can be tackled not only by real films or books but also by video games like this, which in this respect holds the same value as Apocalypse Now: the horror... the horror.

If you're still not convinced... go to hell.

P.S. NO RUSSIAN!
