The desire to change everything, the sweet taste of freedom to be won even with blood, the people's rage against the powerful: "Stalingrad" is a true anthem to revolution.

Accept returns with an album that emanates pure electric energy from "Hung, Drawn and Quartered" to "The Galley." Ten adrenaline-filled tracks, plus a bonus track.

Mark Tornillo's shattering voice, Wolf Hoffmann's high-voltage bursts. "Stalingrad" should be listened to first thing in the morning: it gives you the right boost to start the day off well. "Against The World" is ideal just after waking up: "Together we stand, thinking with just one mind/It's us against the world". Subversive thoughts at six in the morning.

And the revolution continues with, precisely, "Revolution": "They wanna bleed us dry, I think we had enough/Stand up, join the revolution". Accept’s take is a clear incitement to revolt, a push that only heavy metal can give.

A standout track is undoubtedly the album's namesake, "Stalingrad": the drums are a carpet bombing from the sky, genuine bombs on the listener to which the guitar grenades of Captain Hoffmann are added.

Peace is only reached towards the end, the last two minutes of "The Galley": an armistice, a slow and pleasant guitar with a light accompanying drum. After every storm, there is always calm.

Without a doubt, a Molotov-cd. Gasoline on the fire. The only flaw: at times, it's a bit repetitive...
