THE REVIEW

Fuck Fuck Fuck, this is truly an album with balls!

It's way back in 1983 when the Teutonic Accept give birth to a great album, actually, I'd say a masterpiece of Heavy Metal "Balls To The Wall" which is more than just being a ball against the wall, it's a kick in the nuts, and a powerful one at that. An album I will always remember without beating around the bush or any nonsense, a real war machine. Led by the great Udo whose voice isn't perfect, not made for melody, but rough and harsh, resembling somewhat Brian Johnson's vocal style of ACDC. But Accept are even more aggressive, gritty, and badass than ever (in a good way).

The war begins with a monstrous bombardment with the legendary Balls To The Wall, a real atomic bomb that releases energy from every pore, a pounding drive, fantastic riffs, in short, a real bombardment until it gives you a headache. Then we move on to the second mission, another piece for true metallers, London Leather Boys, with a chorus that will never leave your head, a fantastic intro with the drums driving the rhythm, not fast but captivating. The third and destructive mission is Fight It Back, a very beautiful typical Accept style track, very engaging, with an exhilarating chorus, very therapeutic for those days when you want to break everything. The war continues with Head Over Heels, nice but nothing new in these gentlemen's repertoire, although very pleasant to continue in the same vein with Losing More Than You’ve Ever Had.

The second part and the war have reached halfway with the true gem of the album, that is Love Child, which I would never tire of listening to for how it's structured, for its exceptional production, basically nothing negative in this extraordinary ride... the war then continues leading us to success with another good track Turn Me On, but the war bounty isn't over yet, as we reach the decisive moment with the fast and sharp Losers And Winners, which already by the title tells you everything you need to know, massive riffs, in short, a unique masterpiece.

The conflict has come to an end now, and summing up, it closes with two very pleasant and well-done tracks, without flaws like Guardians Of The Night and the enchanting Winter Dreams, showing our friends know how to handle melody even if it's not their forte, truly great.

I want to conclude by saying that Accept is one of the bands that made the history of Heavy Metal, also included among the creators of the Power Metal genre, great musicians with excellent technique and a lot of heart, damn! The voice may not be the best, but it's very suitable for this genre and situation, a remarkable guitarist like Wolf and a brilliant bassist and drummer with a style of his own, who doesn't falter in this extraordinary band, so listen to this album, it's truly indispensable for those who love good music and especially Rock, the pounding and lively kind under every aspect.

Big greetings to everyone and Rock all your life Yeahhh!

ENJOY ITTT!

It is definitely in pieces like this that Accept show their best.

Accept demonstrate their ability to transition from aggressive pieces to calmer ones with truly disarming ease.

A truly ballsy record for the legendary Accept with U.D.O. at the vocal helm and a GREAT GUITARIST like Wolf.

Accept were and still are an amazing band and they keep getting better every year, with their music that increasingly engages people.
