I love bands that present a bloodthirsty artwork and also propose BLOODTHIRSTY MUSIC!
Unfortunately, Aborted belongs to that group of bands that have sown their work well and a lot, but have not reaped much.
They offer the usual very raw but also very deliberate brutal-death. Adding to it all the grind outbursts along with a horrific and maniacal voice. Sharp but melodic guitars (well, a little!) when needed. Those few seconds of intro beautifully usher us into this "The Purity Of Perversion" which boldly launches with the furious "Act Of Supremacy." The subsequent "The Lament Configuration" is the typical slow rabid one with artfully done slowdowns.
The following songs are good and varied. In "Highway 1-35" at the central point of the song, you can hear a sublime little voice of a woman enjoying herself for a few seconds (I wonder why?!? eheheh!). The closure is for moshing with the usual song that is neither too fast nor too slow but has the characteristic of being impactful! If you're into Sanremo, perhaps you better go for a Tonino Carotone or a Pappalardo. Otherwise, put it in your stereo and dive into the mosh pit!
