An album recorded over three years by a former drummer who got tired of playing behind everyone and decided to go solo, producing an album with his own ideas and emotions. Sure, beats are still his "cup of tea" (perfect, whether they form the base of a ballad, or are hip hop or drum'n'bass), but what stands out in the album is the ability to switch from one genre to another and consistently create pleasant, elegant songs, like in the beautiful A whispered lullaby, or in the light and super cool funky groove of Figure it out. Towering above all is the drum'n'bass ride of Backgammon, with hints of rock and at the same time ambient and jazz.
