A Flock of Seagulls are an English New Wave band formed in Liverpool in 1979. Led by Mike Score, they broke out internationally with I Ran (So Far Away) and are known for hits like Space Age Love Song and Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You).

Formed in Liverpool in 1979; classic early lineup included Mike Score, Ali Score, Frank Maudsley, and Paul Reynolds. Won the 1983 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for D.N.A.
