A day to remember; perhaps for someone, and it also depends on which day and for what reasons. But we are certainly not in the presence of a memorable band, in fact, we do our best to forget these five guys from Florida as quickly as possible, who were lucky enough to find in Victory a mentor so wealthy that allowed them to release their second full-length work (after the debut "And Their Name Was Treason" released by Indianola Records); an honestly deficient work.
And to think that they had the chance to listen to all the colleagues who, over the last three years, have taken shovels to the face in an attempt not to sink (an accomplishment achieved by very few) trying to align melody and ferocity (moderate, anyway...). And so they also aim straight at the dichotomous formula now known even to preschoolers and alternate heavy and metallic breakdowns with obviously catchy openings of emo-core origin (even though it is always in easy listening that they end up) and they even try to move us with "The Price We Pay", but the only result they achieve is going nowhere and contributing to inflating the music market with yet another useless and expensive product.
Next please...!
Iron fist in a baseball glove.
This 'For Those Who Have Heart' definitely deserves its three stars, by virtue of a sound as derivative as it is damn effective.
