8:58 (Paul Hartnoll)

Paul Hartnoll is an English electronic musician best known as one half of the duo Orbital; he has released solo material and the project/album titled 8:58.

Founder member of Orbital with his brother Phil Hartnoll. The 8:58 project/album features collaborations and guest appearances noted in reviews, including Robert Smith, Cillian Murphy, Lisa Knapp, Ed Harcourt, The Unthanks and Fable. The Orbital duo split followed the release of Wonky; Phil Hartnoll is not an integral part of the Orbital project as noted in the review.

A mixed review of Paul Hartnoll's 8:58 project. The opening title track and closing moments are praised; much of the album is seen as inconsistent or underdeveloped. Features high-profile collaborators but overall rates as an uneven release.
