Jeery Van Eyck can say what he wants, but if a journalist were to ask him: "which record would you have liked to be a part of?" his answer would be: "Blues For The Red Sun by Kyuss, or no, Coping With The Urban Coyote by Unida, or no, Into The Exam Room by Hermano, or no, any record where John Garcia sings".

In fact, that's exactly the situation, "Deep Inside..." is definitely one of the best stoner albums of the post-Kyuss era, it has only one flaw: the vocals (even if the other members don't try hard to make this record sound different from Kyuss). Play this album to 10 of your friends and ask: "Who is it? Come on, it's easy", 9 out of 10 will say Kyuss (thinking it's a reunion), 1 will think a little, will say a random name, get it wrong, and then will play it safe by saying Kyuss.

But let's move on to the album, very desert "Diamonds 2000", although I don't remember any deserts in the Netherlands, the energy of "One At A Time" greatly resembles that of "Supa Scoopa And Mighty Scoop" ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... DAMN! I can’t review this album without making references to Kyuss or Palm Desert!

I'll try again....

Referring to my beloved car songs "Crawling" and "J. Quicksand" have the aggressiveness to be defined as such, while "Heroin Chic" should absolutely be avoided in the car, the risk is starting to drive too fast and maybe getting hurt or hurting someone, the acoustic "Savannah" is beautiful, ideal to be played on the beach in front of drunk people and a bonfire, it very much recalls "Space Cadet"... .... .... .... uhm.... ..... DAMN! No, I just can't do it, let's move on to the conclusions, it's better.

In short, stoner rock from the Netherlands, not recommended for fans of originality, highly recommended instead for fans of the genre who can look past it.
