I Would Like to Be Reborn as a Lama is the debut album of 7Marzo, a new solid presence in the Italian alternative scene.
The band reflects the eclectic personality of frontman Franz, who graduated in experimental composition at the Conservatory G. Verdi and in drums at the Modern Music Academy of Milan.
The album is light and enjoyable to listen to, featuring very ironic lyrics that shift from "love" songs to narrations of everyday moments, from critiques of the radio industry to moments of awareness and self-criticism, all conveyed with a carefree and very entertaining singer-songwriter style, demonstrating that it's not necessary to take oneself too seriously to discuss serious topics.
