Polychromatic shards slice through the lead-grey sky, the mind soars towards unknown spaces, losing itself among the waves. The music of 2562, one might say, the perfect soundtrack for a cyber-cocktail on a spaceship, in the company of your mechanical partner.

Joking aside, Dave Huismans's debut work is a rhythmically complex piece, where techno progressions meet the smokiest dubstep, a combination of bass, reverberations, and digital sounds that impresses, slowly, with each listen. The tracks follow one another in the headphones and we advance confused, following a disorienting path that leads to the marvelous "Greyscale", a multicolored prism of sounds and vibrations that ends with a pulsating bass, almost reminiscent of a heartbeat. Thrilling. At the end of the journey, the desire to embark on a new cruise in space resurfaces strongly. Why not indulge it?

"Aerial" is an hypnotic album, minimal, in some ways mystical, a little gem of contemporary times that will reveal itself slowly, only to shine with its own light. The future is here among us, all that's left is to close your eyes and dive in, without fear...
