THE REVIEW

After the departure of the two members, Pier Paolo Rossi and Andrea Esposito, keyboards and percussion respectively, 24 Grana release their first live album, distributed by CGD, where they deliver their best in the live dimension.

The tracks are taken from their first album "Loop", with the addition of "Regina", mainly featured on the compilation "Napoli Sound System", the cover "Scugnizzi" by Eugenio Bennato, and the unreleased "Traveller".

Compared to the studio versions, the songs gain a greater electric dimension, leaving very little room for electronics as in "Introdub", "Scugnizzi", "Traveller".

24 Grana

24 Grana are an Italian (Neapolitan) group led by Francesco Di Bella, described in reviews as fiercely independent and stylistically hard to categorize, mixing dub/reggae roots with guitars, electronics, and punk energy, often singing in Neapolitan dialect.

"24 Grana has managed to make already beautiful songs in electronic version even more beautiful when played with the help of bass, drums, and electric guitar."

"A record to own and cherish, in my opinion, one of the best live productions (in the Italian field) in recent years."
